Attorney Jill M. McGoldrick opened her Milford law firm, The Law Offices of Jill M. McGoldrick, LLC, in September 2014. Located in a beautiful setting that overlooks Milford Harbor, the firm represents plaintiffs in personal injury litigation and provides mediation services for the resolution of personal injury cases, divorce/custody issues and small business conflicts.
A trial lawyer since 1994, Jill spent the first part of her career working for an insurance carrier, where she defended the types of cases she now brings on behalf of her clients. Jill leads the firm’s personal injury practice with a fierce commitment to excellence in trial advocacy, fueled by compassion for the clients she represents.
As a mediator, Jill is both an active listener and innovative problem solver. She targets key issues and guides the parties through meaningful discussions to reach mutually beneficial resolutions. Having successfully advocated both sides of personal injury matters, Jill is able to anticipate the stumbling blocks that often prevent settlement, then helps the parties to overcome them.
In addition to personal injury matters, Jill mediates financial and custody disputes for divorcing couples, and helps small business owners negotiate contracts, navigate human resource matters and avoid potential litigation. With a genuine desire to help others problem solve and leave conflict behind them, she approaches each mediation with enthusiasm and optimism.
Attorney McGoldrick is an active member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association where she serves on the Leadership Team of the Women’s Caucus. She graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a B.A. in Political Science and French in 1988.
